Lamborghini Lounge Tokyo: the Aventador S and the co-branded capsule collection

Lamborghini Lounge Tokyo: the Casa del Toro opens the Lounge Tokyo in the exclusive residential district of Roppongi, the second space after the one in New York in the United States. Inside there is the Permanent study Ad Personam where the customer can customize the colors, interior and exterior finishes of his new Lamborghini down to the smallest detail. The Tokyo Lounge is not only a window on the Lamborghini world for owners and VIPs, but also a meeting place and a space for events and exhibitions.

The inauguration also becomes the ideal moment for the presentation of the collaboration between Lamborghini and the legendary brand of the world-renowned designer Yohji Yamamoto: the Lounge is the ideal setting to present the Lamborghini Aventador S “dressed” by Yohji Yamamoto, alongside the co-branded capsule collection consisting of three unique items, mod coat, bomber and hooded sweatshirt.

Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Automobili Lamborghini, met Yohji Yamamoto at Paris Fashion Week in January 2020, and was struck by the style created by the contrast between red and black in the collection presented, but also by the exceptional craftsmanship that shone from every head. The shared values between Lamborghini and Yohji Yamamoto were evident and collaboration inevitable. Inspired by the Paris collection, the Lamborghini Style Center imagined the iconic Aventador S as a canvas to paint on. The unmistakable Gandini Line, which characterizes every Lamborghini, while remaining clearly visible on the Aventador, is enriched with motifs selected from the clothing collection, the same ones that decorate the interiors of Aventador S.

Mitja Borkert comments on the collaboration as follows: “It was a thrill to be able to work with Yohji Yamamoto, world fashion icon, who immediately understood the value of the DNA of Lamborghini design. Our collaboration gave birth to this exceptional design work for Aventador S which, presented today for the first time, celebrates the union between Italian craftsmanship and Japanese culture ”.

Yohji Yamamoto points out: “With their inimitable design, Lamborghini super sports cars are instantly recognizable, more than any other car brand: a single glance is enough. I am proud to see this collaboration realized, which emphasizes the uniqueness, timeless charm and passion that characterize both brands. “

On the ground floor of the Tokyo Lounge, the first window on the Lamborghini lifestyle, it is also the place to welcome customers for the personalized delivery of their new Lamborghini, while the second and third floors offer unique environments for events and meetings, both for occasions of work that you deprive and ensure an exclusive experience that embodies the style and design characteristics of the Lamborghini brand. The Lounge will also open its doors to the public for special activities such as exhibitions or art shows.
